Villainous Villains Part 4
So two guys, a robot, and a brain in a jar get arrested...
Here's the next part of my favourite graphic novel about weird villains. If I ever write a sequel, and believe me I have ideas, I'd love to bring back Violet Shadow in a big way. She has such a small part here, but I'd like to see what she could do on her own and how her feeling towards our four villains change after the events of this story.

Panel 1: In the gloom of night, the police transport moves along a street on the
edge of the city.
Panel 2: It stops at a red traffic light.
Panel 3: From a nearby building, a shadowed figured
drops down on top of the police transport The policemen in front don’t see a
thing.
Panel 4: The policeman driving checks his side mirror and sees nothing.
Panel 5: In the back of the transport, Spam Man, Technomancer, Brain, and Tinman
have all fallen asleep.
Panel 6: Close up of the barred window in the back door of the transport.
SOMEONE OUTSIDE OF WINDOW: Psssst.
PAGE 19
Panel 1: Nobody wakes up.
SOMEONE OUTSIDE OF WINDOW: ...Psssst! Hey!
Panel 2: Brain groggily opens an eye and looks up towards the window.
BRAIN: …Uh?
Panel 3: Close up of the window.
SOMEONE OUTSIDE OF WINDOW: Stand back, okay?
Panel 4: Outside, the shadowed figure leans down over the edge of the transport and places a small bomb on the back door of the transport.
Panel 5: Suddenly the back of the transport explodes and the doors go flying off. The transport is thrown on its side from the force of the explosion.
Panel 6: It slides down the road on its side and
the shadowed figure leaps off.
PAGE 20
Panel 1: Inside, everyone lays stunned against the far side of the transport.
Panel 2: Close up of Brain, piled on top of the others. He looks groggy and confused.
BRAIN: What...?
Panel 3: The shadowed figure stands silhouetted in the opening at the end of the transport.
SHADOWED FIGURE: What do you mean “what”?
Panel 4: As she leans down into the transport to offer a hand to the others, she comes into the light and is revealed to be a woman in a costume of various purple shades.
WOMAN IN PURPLE
COSTUME: This is a jailbreak!
PAGE 21
Panel 1: Outside, the woman in the purple costume leans over and helps Spam Man out of the back of the smoking truck. The others climb out behind him, with Technomancer carrying Brain, cautiously peering around.
WOMAN IN PURPLE COSTUME: Come on, we gotta split before the cops get here.
Panel 2: Technomancer looks at the woman in the purple costume with suspicion.
TECHNOMANCER: Wait. How do we know we can trust you? Who are you?
Panel 3: The woman in the purple costume picks the locks on Spam Man’s handcuffs while the others stand aimlessly by the turned over transport.
SPAM MAN: That nerd’s right. Why would you want to break me out when I don’t even know you?
Panel 4: The woman in the purple costume acts modestly.
WOMAN IN PURPLE COSTUME: Yeah, I guess people like you wouldn’t really know smaller-time criminals like me.
Panel 5: Close up of Brain in Technomancer’s hands. He enthusiastically waves one arm in the air as if answering a question.
BRAIN: Are you
kidding?!? I know who you are!
PAGE 22
Panel 1: Technomancer holds out Brain in front of him. Spam Man, Technomancer, and Tinman all look quizzically at Brain.
Panel 2: They continue to stare at him. He shrugs.
BRAIN: What? I like villains, I’m a fan. I collect their trading cards and everything.
Panel 3: Spam Man, Technomancer, and Tinman all look with a mix of surprise and confusion at Brain while he accuses them.
BRAIN: But she’s the Violet Shadow and you’ve never heard of her? Where have you been living?
Panel 4: Brain gestures in a matter-of-factly way.
BRAIN: Never mind, that’s totally fine. She’s only one of the greatest super villains of all time. It’s no big deal or anything...
Panel 5: Brain gestures one arm towards the others in front of him while he gestures his other towards himself. He looks annoyed and angry that the others don’t share his knowledge.
BRAIN: ...except that she rescued us!
Panel 6: Everyone, even Violet Shadow, watches Brain with surprise while he goes into full rant mode.
BRAIN: This is
someone who once blocked out the entire sun in an attempt to rob
the Magnum City Bank. Not some of the sun, not most of
the sun, but the
entire sun.
PAGE 23
Panel 1: Brain is dead serious as he gestures to Violet Shadow.
BRAIN: You should be thankful that someone so great took precious time out of her life to rescue people who are so beneath her.
Panel 2: Everyone just stares at Brain.
Panel 3: Violet Shadow cracks a smile.
VIOLET SHADOW: I like him.
Panel 4: Technomancer looks more skeptical and confused than ever.
TECHNOMANCER: Okay, now this makes even less sense. Why would someone so famous want to break out four random people that you’ve never even met?
Panel 5: Violet Shadow gestures to herself.
VIOLET SHADOW: Oh
please, I’m not that famous. Your friend in the jar was just
gushing. You guys are the famous ones.
PAGE 24
Panel 1: Spam Man, Technomancer, Brain, and Tinman stand in stunned silence. Spam Man uses one hand to point to himself.
SPAM MAN: Us.
Panel 2: Violet Shadow looks enthusiastic.
VIOLET SHADOW: Absolutely! That’s why I broke you guys out, I want to join your team!
Panel 3: Like Panel 1.
SPAM MAN: Our team.
Panel 4: Violet Shadow nods her head a mile a minute.
VIOLET SHADOW: Yes!
Panel 5: Spam Man, Technomancer, Brain, and
Tinman all look at each other, visibly confused.
PAGE 25
Panel 1: Violet Shadow is undeterred. Behind her, the policemen climb out of the transport.
VIOLET SHADOW: You guys are hilarious. “What team?” Hah! Your team of course!
Panel 2: Out of the cab, policemen spot Violet Shadow and the others.
VIOLET SHADOW: The team that- (gets cut off by the policeman)
POLICEMAN: Hey!
Panel 3: Violet Shadow looks frantically over at the policemen as police sirens sound in the distance. The others are off panel.
SIREN: WHEEEOOOO WHEEEOOOO
VIOLET SHADOW: Aw, heck. Come on, we gotta go!
Panel 4: Violet Shadow looks over at where Spam
Man, Technomancer, Brain, and Tinman used to be. They’ve already taken off and
can barely be seen exiting the panel.
